TIP SHARING

As part of our Ambassador Program, TogetheRaise shares a percentage of tips with our Ambassadors:

  • REFERRALS – When a qualified donor in an Ambassador's “referral tree” leaves a Tip.
  • RECRUITING – When an Ambassador recruits a new user to the Ambassador Program, who then has referral earnings.

REFERRALS:

Referral tree means donors who are connected to an Ambassador via their referral link, whether those donors donated directly from that referral link, or are donors who are connected by multiple referrals to that Ambassador. For example, if you refer Donor 1, who refers Donor 2, who then refers Donor 3, all 3 donors will be in your referral tree.

As an Ambassador, you receive 20% of a Tip in your referral tree when:

  • You directly refer a donor, or
  • There is no other Ambassador between you and the donor.

    Example: Ambassador 1 → Donor 2 (tip ) → Donor 3 (tip) → Donor 4 (tip)

    In this example, none of the donors in Ambassador 1’s referral tree has become an Ambassador, so Ambassador 1 will receive 20% of any Tip given by Donor 2, 3 or 4.

As an Ambassador, you receive 10% of a Tip in your referral tree when:

  • There are other Ambassadors more closely connected to a donor than you are, AND
  • You are no more than 2 connected levels away from the closest Ambassador in the referrals tree to the donor

    • Example 1: Ambassador 1 → Ambassador 2 → Ambassador 3 → Donor 4 (tip)

    Example 2: Ambassador 1 → Ambassador 2 → Ambassador 3 → Ambassador 4 → Donor 5 (tip)

    In example 1 above, Ambassador 3 will receive 20% of the tip from Donor 4 if she chooses to leave one because Ambassador 3 is directly connected to Donor 4 and thus receives a portion of her Tip. Ambassadors 1 and 2 will receive 10% of the tip from Donor 4, because they are indirectly connected referrers, and they are each within 2 connected levels of Ambassador 3."

    In example 2 above, Ambassador 1 will NOT receive any of Donor 5’s Tip if she chooses to leave one. Ambassador 4 is directly connected to Donor 5 and thus will receive 20% of any Tip if she leaves one . . . but because Ambassador 4 is both in the referral tree of Ambassador 1 AND is more than 2 connected levels away from Ambassador 1, that means Ambassador 1 does not receive any of Donoi 5's Tip. However, in this example, Ambassadors 2 and 3 will receive 10% of any Tip given by Donor 5 because they are within 2 connected levels of Ambassador 4.


RECRUITING:

As an Ambassador, when you directly recruit another user to join the Ambassador Program, you may receive a 50% credit of the amount such Ambassador earns from their referrals!

Here are the steps:

  • You become an Ambassador
  • You refer someone who donates (via your referral link) and then becomes an Ambassador
  • That person then refers someone else who leave a Tip
  • Because you officially recruited that new Ambassador, you receive 50% of the value of any tip amount received by that Ambassador for referring the donor

    • Example: In an instance where you are Ambassador 1 and you directly recruited Ambassador 2 to become an Ambassador (via your referral link), then if Ambassador 2 earns a $2 referral share of a Tip, you as Ambassador 2’s recruiter earn $1 as a recruiting credit.
